I have recently noticed that with more and more short-sale and bank owned properties that a pre-qualification letter from your lender is required in order to submit an offer. Is it ordinary practice for lenders other than conventional to supply pre-qual letters to potential borrowers?

Finished a rehab and putting the house on the market. Due to other investmentws cash flow is limited and need money to carry through the sale. May take 6 months. Need no doc loan.
